Writing Well Within A Content Management System
The dream goes something like this: "Now that we have a content management system (CMS), we'll work more efficiently, use and share our knowledge across business functions, streamline our human resources activities, and better serve our internal (and external) customers." But a content management system alone cannot improve the quality of the writing at your site. While the CMS makes it easy to publish content, that advantage can become a danger if content contributors lack web writing skills. In this course you’ll learn about the variety of CMS user interfaces, how a CMS makes web writing both easier and harder, how to establish writing guidelines for web content contributors, and how to integrate web writing training into CMS training.
Course Length: one day
