Persuasive Writing: How To Write A Proposal That Gets Accepted

Are you full of good ideas about how to improve things at your workplace but lacking the writing skills to convince others?  Or, does your boss rely on you to write the first draft (or even the final draft) of program, funding, or staffing proposals?  If so, this course will teach you how to write persuasive proposals that are accepted and acted upon. You will review different types of proposals.  You’ll analyze the strengths and weaknesses of each type.  Then, you’ll learn how to write each section of a proposal from executive summary, to chapters, to appendices.  You’ll learn how to present your message to make it convincing, even if your reader is unfamiliar with your proposal topic or skeptical about it.

Course Length: one day
